AML and KYC

Lemon account checks connect the person using the service with the identity, payment method and funds behind an account. KYC concerns knowing the customer; AML checks address money laundering and related misuse. A request for further information should be answered through the authorised account channel.

Operator and verification context

Orange Entertainment B.V. applies risk-based customer due diligence. Relevant triggers include concerns about existing identity information, suspected misuse, unusual funding patterns and the customer or transaction risk assessment. Its AML policy includes sanctions and politically exposed person screening, monitoring of transactions, and enhanced checks where warranted.

Identification can involve an unexpired government photo ID. Address evidence and source-of-funds or source-of-wealth material can be requested as the review requires. Inability to complete required due diligence, false documents or sanctions concerns can lead to restrictions, refusal or termination. Certain reporting details may be withheld where disclosure would compromise a lawful investigation.

Verification readiness checklist

Practical information
Request concerns How to prepare
Identity Check validity and legibility of the requested identity document
Residential address Read the exact type and age requirement in the request
Payment ownership Match the registered name with the relevant payment evidence
Source of funds Provide evidence relevant to the transaction under review
A rejected upload Ask which field or image needs correction before resubmitting

Monitoring and account actions

Keep registration details current and use one consistent explanation for the transaction. Split deposits, rapidly changing methods or repeated submissions are not a way to avoid checks. If an account is restricted, ask which actions remain available, whether a document is outstanding and how an existing balance will be handled. Do not infer that a deposited amount is withdrawable simply because the deposit was accepted.

Safe submission and follow-up

Use support within the account service to clarify a request that is ambiguous. Ask for the secure document channel before sending identity or financial material. Do not give support your password, card security code or one-time login code. Keep the case reference and the dates of submission. For handling of verification data and retention, see Privacy Policy; for the product context, see About Us.

The effect on a payout is explained in Payments and Withdrawals. A disputed decision can be raised through Complaints Procedure.
